Everything you need to make three complete miniature matchbox crankies! These tiny storytelling boxes are a joy to create and make very sweet keepsakes, unique analog toys or "moving greeting cards”.

The kit includes:

• A “Let’s Make a Matchbox Crankie” instructional zine: a hand-illustrated, step-by-step booklet by Sonya Montenegro

• 3 small blank matchboxes

• gorgeous golden gooseneck scissors

• a viewing window template

• 10 long matches

• 4 scroll papers - 2 typing paper, 1 tracing paper, 1 black paper

• Three pieces of white cardstock, for facade

• Extras: a variety of fun papers & embellishments for decorating your crankie facade! (extras may be similar but not exactly like those pictured here)

Follow the detailed instructions to turn each matchbox into a delightfully decorated viewing window, then illustrate or write out your story or message on a long scroll of paper and install the scroll properly. Either make three complete crankies or use some of the materials included to practice before making your final crankie. Have fun and enjoy!
